What the sessions covered

Statistics sessions gave members the tools behind modern finance: descriptive statistics, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation, and linear regression, applied to real return series.

Equal time went to the pitfalls, including survivorship bias, overfitting, and the difference between correlation and causation, so that members could read quantitative research critically.

Part of the curriculum developed under founder and president Christopher R. Peckyno.
