Curriculum
Fixed Income
Bond pricing, yield curves, duration, credit spreads, and the structure of debt markets.
What the sessions covered
Fixed income sessions started with the price-yield relationship and built up through duration and convexity, the term structure of interest rates, and the difference between Treasury, corporate, municipal, and securitized markets.
Members learned to read the yield curve as a signal, to decompose a corporate bond’s yield into its parts, and to understand why credit spreads widen and tighten.
